Troops of 651, 652 and 653 Brigade belong to 65 Division under command to SFHQ-KLN, conducted number of welfare projects to commemorate the World Children’s Day on 01 Oct 19.
To coincide with the World Children’s Day, troops of 11(V) GR belong to 651 Brigade organized a commemoration ceremony at Annai Theresa Pre School. 35 x kids, 4 x teachers and 40 x civilians participated in the event.
Troops of 20(V) VIR and 7 SLNG belong to 652 Brigade organized school items distribution programme at Anavilandankulam American Mission pre School and M/A Amithiyapuram pre School. 99 x students and 7 x teachers participated in the event.
Meanwhile, Troops of 10 SLLI of 652 Brigade distributed a stock of books and accessories among ten pre-school kids at KollavilankulamMaran pre School.
Those projects were launched under the directions of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and with the supervision of General Officer Commanding, 65 Division, Major General KAW Kumarapperuma USP.
