To commemorate the Poson Poya day, troops of the 57 and 65 Divisions organized Poson zones and Dansala respectively at Mankulum and Skandapuram areas on 27 and 28 June 2018. Chief incumbent of Mankulam temple arranged a special pooja ceremony together with civilians, Police and troops of 57 Div at temple premises. More than 4000 Military and Civil personnel participated forboth events.
Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Nissanka Ranawana participated the inaugural occasion as a chief guest along with General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, General Officer Commanding, 65 Division Major General Kumara Peiris and Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, and Government Officers& civilians were among the invitees.
