Troops of the Security Force Kilinochchi on the guidelines given by Commander Security Force Kilinochchi Major General Harendra Ranasinghe with the sponsorship received from family of philanthropists from Kuruvita, distributed more than 250 school items packs in Kilinochchi area on 20 March 2021.
Mr Tharanga and his family members in response to a request made by the brigadier general staff brigadier saman liyange contributed to the project. This programme was carried out after identifying the families who were undergoing hardships as well as offering a motive to upcoming Sinhala Tamil new year Festival.
Moreover, Chief Coordinator Civil Affairs of SFHQ KLN Lieutenant Colonel Lal Kithsiri provided fullest support to coordinate with donors and to make the event a success. representative donors also took part in the social service project with strictly adhering to the health regulations.
