KILINOCHCHI TROOPS INVOLVED WITH SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGNS

Troops of 652 and 653 Brigades of 65 Division under the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi involved with CIMIC Projects in the area on 23 February 2019.

Troops of 7 Sri Lanka National Guard belongs to 652 Brigade conducted a Shramadana campaign to clean the Pullayarhindu temple at Akkarayankulam and the troops of 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry belongs to 653 Brigade organized a Shramadana campaign to clean the Vannivilankulam School. More than 2x53 Military troops and civilians participated for said Shramadana campaigns.

Both Shramadana campaigns were organized as per the concept of Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Ralph Nugera and under the supervision of Major General Wasantha Kumarapperuma, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division.
