KILINOCHCHI TROOPS INVOLVED WITH SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGNS

Troops of 651 and 652 Brigades of the 65 Division under Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi involved with CIMIC Projects in the area on 26 and 28 January 2019.

Troops of 20 (V) Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment belongs to 652 Brigade conducted a Shramadana campaign to clean the Anavilandankulam GTM School premises and the troops of 19 Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry of 651 Brigade organized a Shramadana campaign to clean the Thewanpiddy beach premises. More than 50 Military troops and civilians participated for said Shramadana campaigns.

Both Shramadana campaigns were organized as per the concept of Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Ralph Nugera and under the supervision of Major General Wasantha Kumarapperuma, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division.
