KILINOCHCHI TROOPS GRANTED EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO PRE SCHOOL STUDENTS
A number of community welfare programmes were carried out by army troops in the Kilinochchi recently, as a part of their social service initiatives. Accordingly, a group of preschool children were received educational aids during a simple ceremony conducted by troops of the 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops deployed under the 57 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi on 21 November 2017.\r\n\r\nThe donation programme was taken place vat the Nagendrapuram School in Paranthan. 19 children of the school, were gifted with essentials school stationary and this donation that was made by the troops of 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. The said programme was initiated under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Bandara Commanding Officer of 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
