KILINOCHCHI TROOPS CONTINUED THEIR SUPPORT TO FLOOD VICTIMS
On the direction of Major General A P de Z Wickramarathne, General Officer Commanding, 66 Division, troops has continued their assistance for the flood victims due the heavy monsoon in Kilinochchi area.\r\n\r\nDue to the heavy rain, Mandagalaru bridge which is located between Jaffna and Mannar road (A – 32) was inundated and it was disrupted to the motor traffic. Therefore, Kilinochchi army troops were coordinated with Navy, Police and Fisheries Society – Valaipadu and helped the civilians to cross the bridge by using boats. \r\n
