Construction of a new house for a tamil widow (Mrs Maheshwari) in Theligarei was initiated on 01 September 2019 by the Commander 661 Brigade, Colonel K H M S Wickramaratne RSP under the supervision of Brigadier M D Wijesundara RSP, the General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division and under the guidance of Major General GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, Commander, Security Forces Kilinochchi.
National Housing Development Authority sponsored for this project while Army troops assist with much needed construction work. The aim of this programme was to uplift the living standard needed for civilians and maintain Civil Military Cooperation in AOR.
