Troops of the Security Forces - Kilinochchi supported to transport and distribute a large quantity (2400 kg) of fresh vegetables offered by private donor, among selected low income families who face economic difficulties due to prevailing pandemic threat and curfew hours in the general areas of Ponnagar, Visuvamadu west and Kallaru on 07 May 2020.
This programme was launched with the direction of the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, and with the supervision of General Officer Commanding 57 Division. Troops of 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 14 Sri Lanka National Guard were supported to this programm.
On the request of the Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Major General HMJK Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc, private donor Mr Senaka Senevirathne from USA sponsored this large consignment of donation.
