KILINOCHCHI SCHOOL CHILDREN GET FREE SHOES FOR NEW SCHOOL TERM
With the aim to enhancing the educational facilities in Kilinochchi school children, Kilinochchi troops organized an another social project by distributing 50 school shoes worth of Rs.75000 to needed school children in the Mulankavil area on 24 December 2015.\r\n\r\nThe donation programme was initiated under the direction of Colonel A.P.I Fernando, Commander 651 Brigade and the donation were extended by Mr. Jagath Pushpakumara, Mr. Sumith Kaldera, Mr.Sajith Kasun Kumara,Mr.Ishanka Harsha Kumara, Mr.Sagara, and Mrs. Anexy Perera from Colombo.\r\n\r\nBrigadier W H M Manathunga – Commander, Ranaviru Seva Resource Centre, Colonel A P I Fernando - Commander, 651 Bde, Rev. Fr. Kumar – Kannan Church, IP Ariyawansha – OIC, Mulankavil Police, Senior Army Officers, School Teachers and Donors, parents of the school children participated in the programme.\r\n
