Under the direction and close supervision of General Officer Commanding 57 Division Major General Vijitha Ravipriya "Judo Workshop" was conducted for the students and school leavers in the vicinity of Killinochchi District on 26 and 27 April 2018 at utility building of 57 Division.
More than 70 players participated for the two days' workshop with good grace throughout the event. It was a golden opportunity for them to interact with key players of the Judo Game such as Sgt Parakaduwa TSGTS, Cpl Shaha Bandu GSAAV, Pte Shanika AD and Pte Kumari VJSH, who are employed in Sri Lanka Army Judo committee as instructors. Thereby participants benefited to improve their knowledge & skills on Judo andactively gain maximum advantage from workshop. Further, Mr Mohandash District Sport Officer - Kilinochchi willingly coordinated the workshop.
