INTER FORMATION METALLIC SILHOUETTE SHOOTING AND PRACTICE RIFFLE COMPETITION - SF (KLN) AOR
The Inter Formation Metallic Silhouette Shooting and Practice Riffle Shooting Competition of SF (KLN), organized under the direction of Comd SF (KLN) to enhanced the standard of marksmanship skills of troops during combat situation. The above competition coordinated and organized by GOC 66 Div / Comd 661 Bde. Display shoots and prize awarding of the shooting competition was held on 07 February 2015 at Ponnaveli Range at 66 Div and Comd SF (KLN) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. \r\n\r\n Six firing teams took part in the competition, representing 57, 65, 66 Divs and FMA (KLN) and the result of the meet as fols:\r\n\r\n 1st place - 57 Div \r\n 2nd place - 66 Div \r\n 3rd place - FMA (KLN)\r\n Overall best shooter - O/67232 Capt RMARB Rathnayaka - 8 SLSR\r\n 57 Div\r\n Best shooter (Metal target) - S/2053420 Pte Nileshan PMY - 6 SLAOC\r\n FMA (KLN)\r\n Best shooter (Riffle firing) - O/67232 Capt RMARM Rathnayaka - 8 SLSR\r\n 57 Div\r\n Best shooter (Man vs Man) - O/5737 Maj WAKL Priyantha - 5 (V) MIR\r\n 66 Div\r\n\r\n All GOCs, Bde Comds, COs and more than 500 troops were witnessed the mammoth event.\r\n
