Troops of 57, 65 & 66 Divisions of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi organized Elle, Kabaddi and Tug of War tournament as an annual feature of the sports calendar of SFHQ KLN at the playground of Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi premises on 12 June 2019.
Inter Battalion Elle Tournament was organized by 1GR under the close supervision of the 662 Brigade and under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 66 Division. A total of 24 different teams from Brigades and Battalions took part in the events. 9 SLSC and 9VIR teams vied in the finals and after the close encounter 9 SLSC became the champions.
The Inter Battalion Tug of War Tournament was organized by 19 SLLI under the close supervision of 651 Brigade and under the guidance of General Officer Commanding, 65 Division.
Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi graced the event as the Chief Guest and awarded the trophies to the winners at the completion.
General Officers Commanding of 57 & 66, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior officers, Officers and other ranks under command to the SFHQ-KLN participated in the event.
