THE INLAND STUDY TOUR OF FOREIGN STUDENT OFFICERS AND THEIR FAMILIES OF DSCSC - 14

The foreign Military Officers and their family members who are following the Staff Course No. 14 at Defence Services Command and Staff College Sapugaskanda visited the Security Force - Kilinochchi area on 29 and 31 of August 2020. During the arrival, student Officers was warmly received by the Commanding Officer of 9 Sri Lanka Signal Corps lieutenant Colonel Bimal Jayashantha USP on behalf of the Commander, SF KLN Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG and offered refreshment at Nelum piyasa Auditorium.

They paid their respect to the Corporal Gamini Kularatne (Hasalaka Gamini) monument at Elephant Pass on their return from Jaffna on 31 August 2020. The 2nd In Command of 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Major Tharanga Madawala briefed about history and importance of the Corporal Gamini Kularatne monument located at Elephant pass.
