The government , launched the National programme to train 50000 graduates for the public service under the patronage of HE the President, aligning with the government pollicy statement, ‘Vistas of Prosperiry and Splendor’ in order to reinforce the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the government institutions. Those newly recruited graduates will follow a special oriantation training programme, which aims to build a nation with healthy attitudes with competent, proactive leaders who can take any challengers to lead the country in a destiny of a developed country in the future. This programme is being conducted at the island wide under the guidance of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army.
Security Force HQ KLN also was delegated this task to facilitate and coordinate this programme at Kilinochchi area where the graduates will undergo specialized training under five pakages of 21 days each. According to that, Leadership and Team Building inhouse trainning package for 216 graduates in Killinochchi and Jaffna District was inaugurated within three fully facilitated training centres under the guidance, direction and close supervision of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG.
Inaugural ceremony of event was held on 14 September 2020 at Nelum Piyasa Auditorium at Kilinochchi. Moreover, Commander SF KLN delivered the opening address envisaging the objectives of the training package and the value of the Leadership and Team Building training. Afterward, Commander SF KLN interacted with the graduates and queried their further requirement and instructed the staff to facilitate them at our highest best possibility.
General Officer Commanding of 57 Division and the president of Leadership and Team Building training package Major General Sujeewa SenarathYapa, General Officers Commanding of 66 and 65 Divisions, Commander Forward Maintenance Area, Commander 571 Brigade and Coordinator of Leadership and Team Building package training in SF KLN Brigadier Kapila Dolage, other Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers and Officer Instructors were presented at the ceremony.
