The second guard Dog Training programme was conducted by 661 Brigade under the supervision of 66 Division was concluded on 6 March with a display show. Security Force Commander Kilinochchi Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe RWP RSP MSc ndu psc participated as the chief gust for the event. The General Officers Commanding 57 Division, 65 Division and 66 Division and all the Brigade Commanders and Commanding Officers participated to witness the event. There were a total of 353 Dogs and Dog handlers participated for the training representing all the formations and units under command to Security Force Kilinochchi. Selected and highly skilled 180 Dogs participated for a display show during the concluding ceremony. The train Dogs will be utilized for Camp Quarter Guard duties as Watch Dogs.
