The GOC 57 Division, Major General DGS Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu made an official visit to 7 SLLI Infantry Battalion on 13 August 2020, to witness the briefing of the Commanding Officer to GOC by using GIS technology and its related applications based on mapping and data storing systems, which was outspoken by GOC 57 Div as new concept to all UC Bdes and Bns. Further, GOC addressed the troops in Battalion Headquarters and a tree sapling was planted at camp premises in parallel with the visit. Commanders 571 Brigade, 572 Brigade, Colonel General Staff, Colonel Administration and Quartering of 57 Division were participated for the event.
