A ceremony was organized by the troops under 65 Division to present gift packs of essential items and nutritional packs to 35 expectant mothers resident at the Mallavi area was taken place at MOH office in Mallavi on 09 October 2017. This civil assistance programme was organized as the direction and supervision of General Officer Commander, 65 Division Major General Sarath Weerawardena RSP USP IG.\r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding 65 Division Major General Sarath Weerawardena RSP USP IG and Commanders of 651,652 and 653 Brigades, Chief Medical Officer of Mallavi Hospital Dr, Susidaran and Dr. VIgidaran also participated to the said event as invitees.
