GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 66 DIVISION MARKS HIS FIRST OFFICIAL VISIT TO 661, 662 BDEs AND UNDER COMMAND BATTALIONS
Brig GWDK Jayatilaka USP, General Officer Commanding of 66 Division marks his First Official Visit to HQ 661, HQ 662 Bdes and under command Battalions on 30 Jan 16 and 01 Feb 16 after assuming duties as GOC 66 Div.\r\n\r\nGOC 66 Div visited HQ 662 Bde, 20 SLLI and 18(V) GR, HQ 661 Bde, 15(V) VIR and 5(V) MIR respectively. GOC was warmly welcomed by Comd 662 Bde, Comd 661 Bde and COs. \r\n\r\nThe First Visit was sequenced as Guard Turn Outs, Briefings, Camp Visits, All Ranks Tea, Tree Plantings, All Ranks Troop Addresses, Visits to AORs and visit to Senehasa Thotupola Project which is another military contribution for public (Elephant Pass railway station). GOC left his memories by Signing of Visitors’ Books to marks his First Official Visit to Bdes and battalions.\r\n
