GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 65 DIVISION VISIT TO 653 BRIGADE
Brigadier W A S Weerawardena RSP USP IG General Officer Commanding 65 Division paid his first visit to the 653 Brigade on 28 September 2015 after his assumption as the GOC – 65 Division. \r\n\r\nCol S K Eshwaran USP psc Commander 653 Brigade warmly received the General Officer Commanding and troops of Brigade offered Guard Tournout to be in line with military tradition. The day’s programme was followed by Troops Address, Briefing by Brigade Commander and All Rank Tea party. Later, General Officer Commanding was attended a tree plantning to mark his visit at Brigade Headquarters. \r\nCommanding Officers, officers and other ranks attended the event .\r\n
