GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 65 DIVISION MARK HIS FIRST VISIT TO BRIGADES
Brigadier W A S Weerawardena RSP USP IG General Officer Commanding 65 Division paid his first visit to the 651 and 652 Brigades on 22 , 23 September 2015 respectively after his assumption as the GOC – 65 Division. \r\n\r\n Brigade Commanders of respective Brigades warmly received the General Officer Commanding and troops of both Brigades offered Guard Tournout to be in line with military tradition. The day’s programme was followed by Troops Address, Briefing by Brigade Commanders and All Rank Tea party. Later, General Officer Commanding was attended a tree plantning to mark his visit at both Brigade Headquarters. \r\n\r\n Commanders of 651, 652 Brigades, Commanding Officers, officers and other ranks attended the event .\r\n
