FOREIGN DONORS OFFR CARPENTRY ITEMS TO LOW - INCOME FAMILIES IN KILINOCHCHI
With the intention of improving livelihood in low – income families, Col API Fernando USP Commander 651 Brigade coordinated with a donor from Melbourne Mrs. Sumithra Karunathilake made a donation of useful equipment for carpentry worth of Rs.75000 to 2 low – income families in Vellankulam on 05 June 2015.\r\n\r\n Meanwhile, other carpentry equipment was also donated to father of S/426675 Pte Thilakarathne HGM of 11th Gamunu Watch Regiment who lives in Haguranketha.\r\n\r\n Commander 651 Brigade,Officers, Other Ranks and family members of relevant carpenters attended this event.\r\n
