FIRST WORKING DAY OF THE NEW YEAR - 2016 WITH A CUSTOMARY CEREMONY AT THE SF HQ (KLN), AMID MILITARY FORMALITIES AND TRADITIONS
The following series of events were conducted at SF HQ (KLN) to mark the New Year on 01 Jan 2016.\r\n\r\na. Boodhi pooja at Mankulam Temple and Kovil Pooja at Amman Kovil Iranamadu.\r\nb. Flag hoisting ceremony / National anthem / Army song / observance of two minute silence / Reading of State Service Commitments, reading of message sent by the Comd of the Army and New Year message read by SF Comd to the tps.\r\nc. All ranks tea party at Other ranks \' Mess.\r\nd. Visit to ABH (KLN) and distribution of gift parcels to inmates.\r\n\r\n Comd SF (KLN), GOC 57 Div, Comd FMA, Bde Comds, Snr Offrs and ORs were attended on these occasions. \r\n
