FIRST WORKING DAY OF THE NEW YEAR - 2015 WITH A CUSTOMARY CEREMONY AT THE SF HQ (KLN), AMID MILITARY FORMALITIES AND TRADITIONS
The following series of events were conducted at SF HQ (KLN) to mark the New Year on 01 Jan 2015.
a. Kovil pooja at Amman Kovil in Iranamadu.
b. Flag hoisting ceremony / National Anthem / Army Song / Observance of two minutes silence / Reading of state service commitments and Reading of message sent by the Comd of the Army.
c. Distribution of three bicycles to school children at Harmony Centre Kilinochchi.
d. All Ranks breakfast at Lake View Kabana SF HQ.
e. Visit to ABH (KLN) and distribution of gift parcels to inmates.
f. Distribution of permanent appointment letters to civil staff working at SF (KLN).
Comd SF (KLN), GOCs, Comd FMA, Bde Comds and Snr Offrs and ORs were attended for occasion.
