FAREWELL TO MAJOR GENERAL GVDUA PERERA RWP RSP USAWC psc
A farewell dinner was awarded to Major General GVDUA Perera RWP RSP USP USAWC psc who was recently appointed as the Security Force Commander Jaffna. The function was held at newly refurbished beautiful Nelum Piyasa the SFHQ auditorium with an electrifying environment on 8 January 2014. Major General GA Chandrasiri, Honourable Governor of the Northern Province, Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, incoming Security Force Commander Kilinochchi, Mrs. R Ketheeswaran, District Secretary Kilinochchi, DIG Pujitha Jayasundara, DIG Jaffna, a group of Catholic priests, large gathering of Army and police officers, doctors, senior government officials in Kilinochchi attended the event.
