AN EXCURSION TO JAFFNA

65 Division Headquarters organized an excursion for officers and other ranks in order to break the monotonous routine work and letting them relax. During the visit troops were able to worship sacred places such as Nagadeepa, Dambakolapatuna, Nallur Kovil and witnessed the Point Pedro, Jaffna Fort and many other important places in and around Jaffna peninsula. Especially the visit was very significant for the soldiers who visited for the first time to Jaffna peninsula. This event was successfully organized with the direction of General Officer Commanding 65 Division Maj Gen Wasantha Kumarapperuma.
