DONATION OF PUSH BICYCLES FOR THE STUDENTS OF KILINCOCHI
Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi organized an event to donate 34 Push Bicycles for the students of Kilinochchi District. This donation was made possible with the generous contribution of Mrs. Ranee Beer from Austria with the kind assistance of Mrs. Barbara Hanlon, Treasurer of the Lions Club in Linz, Austria and Mr&Mrs Brigitte & Gerhard Aigner. The donation was arranged with the cooperation of Ms. Ranee Beer by 8 Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. The students and their parents expressed their gratitude for the organizers of the event whilst sincerely expressing their highest gratitude for those wonderful people who use to contribute financial assistance for make the event a success. The distribution of push bicycles is a regular event in Security Force Kilinochchi under the leadership of Security Force Commander who introduced the concept to uplift the education facilities for the students. Security Force Commander Major General Sudantha Ransinghe RWP RSP MSc ndu psc participated for the event as the chief guest and all Formation Commanders and Senior Military officers attend for the event.
