DONATION OF COCONUT PLANTS FOR LOW - INCOME FAMILIES IN KILINOCHCHI
A distribution of coconut plants for low income families living in the Kannakkaipuram, Konavil and Skandapuram area with the sponsorship of the Coconut Development Authority – Kilinochchi was held on 21 January 2016. This donation programme was organized by 65 Division and 652 Brigade with the intention of uplift living standard of low income families in Kilinochchi .\r\n\r\n Major General Amal Karunasekara, Commander – Security Forces Kilinochchi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. General Officer Commanding – 65 Division, Commander – 652 Brigade, Mr. G Sinemdaran of the Coconut Development Authority – Kilinochchi, state officers, senior military officers and large no of civilians participated this donation programme.\r\n
