DONATION OF BOOKS FOR UTILIZING OF CIVILIANS AND MILITARY PERSONNEL IN 66 DIVISION
With the objective of improving the adore for reading and extra knowledge of school children, military personnel and civilians, sets of books are donated to the library of 661 Brigade Headquarters by the Vice Chancellor and the library staff of the University of Rajarata. This project is implemented by staff of University of Rajarata accepting the invitation made by General Officer Commanding 66 Division Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana. A valuable set of books that consists of Sinhala, Tamil and English were awarded at the ceremony. \r\n\r\nThe ceremonial launch of this programme was held in the morning of 13 October 2017 at the conference hall of 661 Brigade with the participation of the Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana and representing the vice chancellor of university of Rajarata, Dr. Illangarathne attended as the guest invitees. At the occasion, Books were donated as symbolically to Major General Duminda Keppetiwalana by Dr. Illangarathne of University of Rajarata. Commanders of 661, 663 Bridges and senior officers, officers, teachers, parents and children of the area participated at this event.
