DONATING OF SCHOOL ITEMS FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN OF UNDER PRIVILLEGED FAMILIES IN POONARYN AREA

66 Infantry division, Poonaryn in one more community project, launched with sponsorship of the “Nanasaviya” charity organization of Colombo University distributed school accessories among 70 students in seven remote schools in Poonaryn area on 13 March 2021 at Poonaryn Central College.

General Officer Commanding of 66 Infantry Division Major General Ajith Dissanayake grace the occasion as the chief guest. The programme held on the direction of the GOC 66 Infantry Division and under the coordination of Brigade Commander 661 Infantry Brigade Brigadier Shantha Hewage. Further, Commanding Officers of under command Battalions, members of the “Nanasaviya” charity organization and the teachers of the school participated in the event.
