571 Brigade organized a programme to distribute saplings for the civilians in the area under the directions of Commander SFHQ (KLN) Maj Gen GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and the guidance of General Officer Commanding 57 Division, on 9 October 2019. During the event 223 saplings which includes Mango plants, Jack fruits plants and cashew plants were distributed among 77 civilians of Kilinochchi and Malayalapuram area. Commander 571 Brigade, Colonel D K S K Dolage USP psc graced the event along with the Commanding Officers of 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 9th Battalion Vijayabahu Regiment.
