A distribution of 200 milking cows among low income families living in Kilinochchi with the sponsorship of “Sri Bodhi Raja Foundation†was held on 16 June 2014 at Harmony Centre, Kilinochchi. This charity programme was funded by foreign Buddhists residing in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Venerable (Dr) Omalpe Sobhitha Thero, Chairman, Sri Bodhi Raja Foundation and Venerable Sri Bhaythawan Thero(Thaiwan), GOCs of 57, 65 and 66 Divs attended the programme where Commander, Security Force, Kilinochchi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
With this distribution SF HQ KLN has distributed a total of 436 Milking Cows to underprivileged families of KLN
In addition, 150 gift parcels (stationary) were distributed among school children in the area.
