Special coordinating conference was held to discuss the issues of Covid 19 outbreak of Minuwangoda cluster on 14 October 2020 at Security Force headquarters Killinochchi. The discussion was presided by Commander Security Forces Killinochchi, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda, with Government Agent Kilinochchi District Mrs R. Ketheeswaran with the intention of developing an integrated mechanism to address the practical issues of establishing additional hospital facilities in an emergency situation of Covid 19 in this area.
Provincial Director of Health Services Dr A. Ketheswaran elaborated the present developments Covid 19 outbreak in Kilinochchi area with their emergency prevention procedures and action plan in depth. Regional Director of Health Services Kilinochchi Dr. N. Sarvana Bawan, Medical Officer PDHS Office, Deputy RDHS Kilinochchi, other medical staff and Senior Staff Officers in SFHQ KLN also participated to the meeting.
