The Director General General Staff at the Army HQ, Major General Priyanka Fernando recently made an official visit to Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi on 08 May 2021.
The DGGS on the arrival at SFHQ (KLN), warmly welcomed by the Commander Security Force Major General Harendra Ranasinghe. Afterwards, DGGS and Commander SF(KLN) preside the conference regarding current issues of ammo dumps and security. Then he visited Regional Ammunition Dump - Kokavil as well.
The General Officer Commanding of 66 Infantry Division Major General Ajith Dissanayake, General Officer Commanding of 57 Infantry Division Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Brigadier Administration and Quartering Brigadier Deepal Hathurusinghe, Director Operations - Brigadier Shantha Ranaweera, Commandant - Central Armament and Ammunition Depot, senior officers from directorates Army HQ and Commanding officers of respective Infantry battalions also participated to the event.
