Under the patronage of Commander Security Forces (Kilinochchi) - Maj Gen GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and General Officer Commanding 65 Division - Maj Gen KAW Kumarapperuma USP, community support programme was conducted for a war victimized disabled family of Mr. Paradasasingham Saranga and Mrs. Saranga Suhana along with their three children at Kilinochchi - Mulankavil. The function was held in 11 (V) Battalion the Gajaba Regiment AOR under 651 Brigade headquarter at 0930 hrs on 05 Sep 19 at the beneficiary’s house at Kariyalanagapadduwan, Pallawarayankaddu. During the programme, a domestic solar panel system, packs of much needed dry foods, stationary packs for children and some plants were distributed to the family. Further, a self-employment opportunity was introduced to the disabled house owner in order to uplift the income of his family. Rev Arul Chelvam, the chief priest of Mulankavil Matha church, Kurukkal S Sendhiselvam from Mulankavil Aiyyanar Kovil, officers from Mulankavil Police station, the president -RDS Kariyalanagapadduwan and GS Kariyalanagapadduwan attended the programme in addition to the Army troops.
