COMMANDER SF KILINOCHCHI VISITED ISLAM JUMUAH MASJID
Maj. Gen. S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc Commander Security Force Kilinochchi made a visit to Kilinochchi Islam Jumuah Musjid (mosque) in the occasion of Jumuah salat (congregational prayer). After attending prayers commander discussed about livelihood and infrastructure facilities of Muslims in the area and upcoming fasting season of Islam devotees with Muhammad Ameen, Maulavi of the mosque and Muhammad Hibdulla the chief of the mosque’s committee. It was discussed to organize a ceremony for Islamians in Kilinochchi with the patronage of the troops to celebrate Iftar when they break their fast during the fasting season.
