In line with HE, the president’s “Saubhagye Dekma” (Vistas of Prosperity and Splendor) policy statement, The Leadership and Team building orientation programme for 50000 graduates recruited to the public sector was began under five phases on 14th September in island wide Army training centres with the guidance and directions given by Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence staff and the Commander of the Army.

According to that, Leadership and Team Building in house training package for first group of 221 graduates in Killinochchi and Jaffna District was successfully completed within three fully facilitated training centres’ under the guidance, direction and close supervision of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda.

Closing ceremony of event was held on 03 October 2020 at Nelum Piyasa Auditorium at Kilinochchi and the Commander SF KLN, awarded certificates to graduates who have completed the training. During the closing address he emphasized that, through this training process, we have witnessed that all the graduates have developed their admirable courage, will power and enthusiasm to accomplish the assignments, with a great sense of spirit which will indeed help them to face any challenging situation in future.

Afterward, Commander SF KLN interacted with the graduates and shear their experience, sweet memories with in the course period. Moreover, graduates highly appreciated the support, given by military during training period and extended their gratitude to the Army.

General Officer Commanding of 57 Division and the president of Leadership and Team Building training package Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa, General Officers Commanding of 66 and 65 Divisions, Commander Forward Maintenance Area, Commander 571 Brigade and Coordinator of Leadership and Team Building package training in SF KLN Brigadier Kapila Dolage, other Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers and Officer Instructors were present at the ceremony.
