At Sri Sugatha Viharaya Mankuam, the main activities surrounded on the full Moon Poyaday included a Day-long Ata-Sil Program (Observance of Eight Precepts) and a Meditation Program to pay homage to Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. Other Dhamma sermons anddiscussions had taken place. The preachers were Venerable Sumana thero the chief incumbent of the Mankulam Sri Sugatha Temple and Venerable Polpithi Mukalane Pangnasiri thero of Asokaramaya Kandana.Meals and Refreshments (dana) were provided to the participants of these programs. About 300 devotees observed ‘sil’. This was organized by 9 SLSC and 11 ESR.
