BESTOWING OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSES

As a efflorescence of a concept of the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG, newly constructed 02 houses were declared opened and bestowed on 27 September 2020 to Mrs. Sengannan Rajeshvaree, No. 49, Malayalapuram, Kilinochchi and Mr. Thiruchelvam Suendiram, Anavilandankulam, Akkarayankulam in a view of facilitating the needy families to uplift their living standard and enhancing the government reconciliation process.

Financial Assistance has been extended by Mr. and Mrs. Mohan Shankar though former Commander Security Forces Jaffna, Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi for this project. Manpower assistance has been provided by troops of the 9 and 20 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiments. Further, 9 and 20 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment managed to provide required households applause and furniture also for these houses.

Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG participated as the chief guest for the bestowing ceremony. Further, General Officer Commanding of 57 Division Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu, General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Brigadier Tikiri Dissanayaka RWP USP, Commander 572 Brigade, Commander 652 Brigade, Commander 573 Brigade, Commanding Officers of 9 and 20 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiments also participated to the event.
