ASSUMING OF DUTIES AS GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING - 57 DIVISION

Brigadier DGS Senarathyapa RWP RSP ndu assumed duties as the 14th General Officer Commanding of the 57 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi on 01 June 2020.

The newly-appointed General Officer Commanding received the Guard Turnout which offered at the entrance to the Divisional Office Area upon his arrival and honoured with the Guard of Honour by the 7 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry. Afterwards with the blessing of ‘Pirith Chanting’ Brigadier DGS Senarathyapa RWP RSP ndu placed his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office. Then, he addressed the all Officers and Other Ranks in Headquarters 57 Division and Under Command Brigades and Battalions at the Utility Building of 57 Division and expressed his future vision for 57 Division. All Brigade Commanders and the Commanding Officers attended the function.
