On the direction of His Excellency The President and the Commander of the Army Directorate of Psy Ops launched an art competition on “ Society free of smoking” to be line with drug prevention awareness month.\r\n\r\nS/7Q02059 L/CplThilakarathne TS of 7 Sri Lanka National Guard secured first place for his painting out of 109 paintings. In appreciation of his talent, he was awarded a cash prize of Rs.50000 /= by Sri Lanka Army and the cheque was handed over by Maj Gen H C P Goonathilake RSP USP ndu psc, Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on 28 Aug 2015 at SFHQ (KLN).\r\n
