An awareness programme on Vocational Training for troops who are serving in Kilinochchi District was held at the Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi auditorium on 04 April 2017 with the intention to educate educate Army personnel on the importance of receiving Vocational Training, prior to their retirement from the active service.\r\n\r\nThe awareness programme was organized by the Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi under the close supervision of Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi. 60 Officers and 350 Other Ranks attended for to the lecture.\r\n\r\n Lieutenant Colonel B.D Sashika Perera, Commanding Officer, Army Vocational Training School at Kalaoya and Mr. Chaminda Wijedasa, Training Officer, Vocational Training Centre, Anuradapura conducted those awareness lectures.
