Basic Angampora Course no 2 was commenced on 03 October 19 at the Dasa Bala Rawana Experiment and Conservation Angampora Village of SFHQ (KLN) in order to groom the soldier's self - defense techniques, physical strength, endurance, courage and tolerance within their society. After successfully completion of their training schedule they proved themselves are geared to continue the Angampora martial arts during the brief display programme conducted on 05 Jan 20 at the Angampora Village of SFHQ (KLN).
Commander Security Forces- Kilinochchi, Major General H M J K Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc graced the event as Chief Guest. The students performed Angampora martial art using weapons and equipment’s to show their skills and finally all students were awarded the certificates by the Commander, Security Forces – Kilinochchi. Master in charge of above training Ritigala Sinhakkara Parapure Kalakeerthi Kalavibushana Mr. Devinda Laksiri Ranasinghe was appreciated by the commander during the ceremony.
