ALL HUMAN BEINGS ARE BORN FREE AND EQUAL IN DIGNITY AND RIGHTS
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights shows that “The inherent dignity and the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family being the foundation, justice and peace in the world”. Under this preamble 8th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment launched a another social project for Kilinochchi peoples by conducting an awareness programme of Human Rights on 10 December 2015 to mark the World Human Rights Day.\r\n\r\nApproximately 100 civilians were participated this awareness programme and Mr. Kanagaraja from Human Rights Commission – Jaffna was conducted significant lecture by under the theme of “ Our Rights, Our Freedom, Always”.\r\n.\r\nCol K T A D S Kolabathanthri, Commander, 571 Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers was attended this awareness programme.\r\n
