661 INFANTRY BRIGADE ORGANIZED A SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGN

Successive directions given by the of General Officer Commanding 66 Division Major General Mangala Wijesundare and with the supervision of Commander 661 Brigade Colonel Shantha Hewage in response of the request made by the principle of the Vignashwara Tamil Mix School at Nalankatti, Pooneryn. A Shramadana Campaign was organized with the participation of the troops of 661 Infantry Brigade and 24 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment to ensure the decent environment for students to facilitate their studies.

This programme was conducted on 15 January 2020 at Vignashwara Tamil Mix School Nalankatti, Pooneryn. After conducting the campaign, the principle and all the teachers along with the students extended their gratitude to all the personnel of the Army for cleaning the school premises.
