66 DIVISION WELCOMES ITS NEWLY- PROMOTED MAJOR GENERAL MANGALA WIJESUNDARA

Troops of the 66 Division in a splendid felicitation ceremony mixed with military formalities welcomed their newly-promoted General Officer Commanding Major General MD Wijesundara RSP on 14th November 2019. The newly-promoted General Officer Commanding was offered a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour at the Headquarters premises of the 66 Division as a formality. Later he attended the sapling planting, addressed a cross-section of the troops of 66 Infantry Division and attended all ranks tea. Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and other ranks representing the 66 Division Headquarters and its under command Brigades and Battalions were present at the ceremony.
