66 DIVISION MARKS ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

66 Infantry Division Headquarters at Pooneryn, Kilinochchi celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a series of events on 10th and 11th of December 2019 under the guidance of Maj Gen MD Wijesundara RSP, General Officer Commanding – 66 Division.

On the Anniversary day (10th Dec), military honours greeted Maj Gen MD Wijesundara RSP, General Officer Commanding, 66 Infantry Division on arrival at the premises followed by the all rank Tea and Lunch.

On 11th of December 2019 a lunch for 35 inmates at the Elders’ Home in Vannerikulam was offered and later in the evening a special Bodhi Pooja to bless the Division and fallen war heroes was organized at Pooneryn temple.

GOC, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers and other Officers along with majority of Other Ranks in the AOR were present during the said events.
