66 Division troops have now been deployed in flood affected areas in Gautharapuram, Ghanimadam, Kumarapura and Kanchipuram for rescue and relief operations on the direction of the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi.\r\n \r\nThe road leading from Mannar to Jaffna was closed at Mandagal Aru bridge due to the heavy floods and 66 Division troops helped for the civilians to cross the bridge by using boats and continue their journey to respective areas with the coordination of Navy and Police. \r\n\r\nMeanwhile, troops provide a sanitary and medical facilitate for the flood victims in 66 Division area. \r\n
