Under the Instructions of Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and Major General KAW Kumarapperuma USP, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division and under close supervision of Commander 651 Brigade, Colonel WACN Warakagoda psc, troops of 19 SLLI belong to 651 Brigade of 65 Division under Commander to Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi within a period of Nine days completed the construction of a Catholic Shrine Room at Thewanpiddy RCTM School.
S/323473 L/Cpl Amarasinghe APS of 19 SLLI carried out the task assigned. The newly constructed Catholic Shrine Room at Thewanpiddy RCTM School was ceremonially opened at 0800 hrs on 28 June 2019 with the participation of Commander 651 Brigade and Commanding Officer of 19 SLLI. The religious observances conducted by Rev. Deny Calister of Fransis Saviour Catholic Church - Thewanpiddy.
