More and more expatriates, who are impressed with the genuine and dedicated commitment of the Army for welfare of low-income people in Kilinochchi District, continue to extend their helping hands towards various projects planned by the Army. This time they have selected a poor girl living in Mallavi area who is suffering from a heart ailment.
M.Thenuja, a girl at the age of 14 years is studding at Mallavi Maha Vidyalaya in the 65 Division area. She is suffering from a heart failure and has to undergo a serious surgery on 11 June 2019 at the Lady Ridgway Hospital – Borella. On the request of the parents of the girl, General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Major General K A W Kumarapperuma USP and his staff together with GS Alankulam made a fund worth of Rs.10000.00 (Ten Thousand) for expenses of forthcoming surgery of the student.
